Financial guidance driven by research and reason

Our approach to investing is logical and strategic – there is a science to the markets, so we treat them accordingly. We act as researchers and analysts, technicians and tacticians. We study the investment universe extensively, evaluating past events to determine future probability and seeking to identify patterns that indicate strength. Then, leveraging our president’s Chartered Market Technician designation, as well as our extensive market experience and insight, we use that analysis to construct tactical, dynamic portfolios for each of our clients.

As financial advisors, we practice point-and-figure charting, a technique popularized by Charles Dow at the turn of the 20th century and later championed by Thomas Dorsey and Watson Wright. The method, often referred to as “the voice of the markets,” measures one of the most tried and true concepts in economics – meaningful movements in price, also known as supply and demand.

Relative strength studies, another key component to our work, allows its practitioners to develop a kind of ranking system based on the peer performance, or relative strength, of an asset or asset class.

Ultimately, the tactics and methods we employ are designed to help our clients realize the benefits of an investment management approach that eliminates the inconstancy of human behavior and is driven purely by pertinent data and practical experience.

There can be no assurance that these various techniques and strategies will be successfully implemented. Investing involves risk and investors may incur a profit or loss.
