Marcel Thomas, assistant to Richard Farkas and financial advisor in Campbell, California, joined Raymond James Financial Services in the summer of 2007. Alongside Richard, Marcel strives to exceed clients’ goals and expectations. Each and every day, he works to cultivate an atmosphere of trust, integrity and respect. He holds several professional certifications including his California insurance license, notary public certification, and FINRA Series 7 and 63 certifications.
Prior to joining Raymond James, Marcel worked with the managing director of Northwestern Mutual Financial Network, where he interacted with clients, providing support and product education.
Marcel graduated cum laude from San Jose State University with a Bachelor of Science in criminal justice administration and a minor in political science. While in college, he volunteered with Friends Outside, a nonprofit community-based organization that provides programs and services to families and individuals involved in the criminal justice system.
On a personal note, Marcel lives with his long-term girlfriend, Andrea, and their miniature pot-bellied pig, Sammy, in Santa Clara, California. In his spare time, he enjoys movies, exercise and training Sammy.
