About Us
Shane explains his work ethic in the following way: “I simply treat my clients like I would want to be treated myself. I invest my clients' money carefully and intelligently.” A graduate of Wayne State College in Wayne, Nebraska, with a degree in finance, Shane began his investment career in 1986 after gaining valuable experience as a tax practitioner and community banker. He is a member of the Financial Planning Association and the Wichita Downtown Lions Club. Shane was also a member of the board of directors of the Pension Fund of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) for 10 years. He served as chairman of the board for the last five years of his tenure, which ended in 2003, and he served as chairman of the Investment Committee for the over $2 billion dollar pension fund. Shane’s spare time is filled helping his children with 4-H projects, the family ranch, and maintaining the acreage around his home. But the most fun, he says, is “doing anything” with his wife, Kianne, a national bank examiner, and children, Lauren and Luke. Shane and his family are members of the Hillside Christian Church.
Vance considers it his responsibility as a financial advisor to always serve his clients with honesty and integrity. About Raymond JamesRaymond James is one of the largest independent financial services firms in the United States. Since its beginning in 1962, it has always been a different kind of company – embracing long-term planning and methodical decision-making while staying uncompromisingly client focused. When other firms were simply buying and selling stocks or mutual funds, Raymond James focused on financial planning to help individuals reach their goals. It was the first firm to pioneer that concept – and today it supports its advisors with access to a full range of comprehensive resources, helping them to do the same.
Raymond James Financial was recently named the best full-service broker in the 2011 SmartMoney annual broker survey for the third time in four years – ranking above Edward Jones, Wells Fargo, UBS, Merrill Lynch and Morgan Stanley Smith Barney. For more information, visit raymondjames.com. SmartMoney does not endorse any product or service of Raymond James. The survey criteria included performance of recommended stocks, customer satisfaction, and user-friendliness of account statements and websites. Past performance may not be indicative of future results. Please note that fees and charges will reduce an investor’s return. |
