Raymond James Financial and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers continued an important tradition during the 2007 season — combining the team’s on-field success with the goal of helping children. Through the 8th annual Kicking for Kids program, Raymond James provided contributions to local children’s hospitals in each city where the Buccaneers successfully kicked a field goal during regular and postseason games.
For every field goal made this season, Raymond James donated $1,000 to the home team’s chosen hospital, providing well-needed support to children in many cities throughout the United States. If the Bucs didn’t kick a field goal during a particular game, a donation of $500 was still made.
Since the Raymond James Kicking for Kids program began in 2000 with Martin Gramatica, it has raised more than $124,000 for children’s hospitals in cities where the Buccaneers have played.
