Investment Services Community Involvement
Giving back to the local community is a primary focus for the Tri Counties Bank Investment Services. Financial advisors Dan Bay and Miste Cliadakis take special interest in staying active in their local community. Along with volunteering throughout the year, the investment services team is involved in the Chico Sunrise Rotary Club and The Salvation Army.
Financial Advisor Dan Bay is active in the Chico Sunrise Rotary Club and participates in the organizations many local events. This outstanding group annually provides every third grader in the Chico area with a dictionary.
Miste Cliadakis and the investment team have taken a specific interest in raising funds for the local Salvation Army. Through the generosity of our clients during the holiday season, they were able to collect over $5,000 in 2009. This giving support of clients and community has helped the investment team raise more than $23,000 dollars over the past nine years.
Tri Counties Bank Community Food Drive
Tri Counties Bank takes an active roll in the community all year but one of its most successful events is the community food drive.
The holiday season always brings out the most giving nature in Tri Counties Bank clients and employees. The 2009 holiday season was no different as the Chico, Oroville, Redding and Red Bluff locations brought in over 26,000 pounds of food! This generosity helps The Salvation Army feed many local families in need.
Tri Counties Bank Coats 4 Kids
Tri Counties Bank has been a sponsor for Coats 4 Kids for the last three years. Since November 1, 2009 branches from Yuba City to Turlock have been collecting coats in their lobbies. On December 16, 2009 the drive collected 22,013 coats, with 1,984 coats being collect at the Roseville Pleasant Grove branch and 4,200 coats collected by the Modesto area branch staff.
Tri Counties Bank Blood Drive
Since 2006 Tri Counties Bank has been organizing blood drives for the local Bloodsource. The last two years were quite successful in their efforts to encourage people to donate blood. In 2008 Tri Counties Bank held 3 blood drives which resulted in 89 pints to donate to Bloodsource. 2009 was successful as well with 2 blood drives and 58 pints donated.
The hard work paid off as Tri Counties Bank was honored with four awards at the 2008 Bloodsource annual chairman’s luncheon. Tri Counties Bank received the Award of Distinction (greatest increase in participation for small business), Outstanding Contribution Award (greatest participation for small business), Symbol of Excellence Award (most registered participants for small business), and finally the Gift of Hope (blood drive of the year for small business).
