As our branch manager, Jim’s goal is to help ensure that each client has a full understanding of the strategy, plan and portfolio we have developed for pursuing their financial objectives – and that we remain steadfastly committed to acting in their best interests.

Jim participates in equity selection and also develops the group’s financial planning models, which are essential to building customized asset allocation plans for our clients. He plays a vital role in selecting and monitoring retirement plan platforms for the group’s corporate clients.

Before joining Raymond James, Jim held positions at E.F. Hutton and Morgan Stanley, and earned a bachelor's degree in accounting from Millikin University. He has been a member of the Raymond James Chairman's Council* for multiple years since 2007. He serves on the board of trustees for Millikin University, the Community Foundation of Macon County, and the Decatur Parks Foundation.

Originally from Cerro Gordo, Illinois, Jim lives in Decatur with his wife, Cynthia. They have two grown children, C.J. and Doug. In his free time, he enjoys golf and road biking.

*Membership in the Chairman's Council is based mainly on assets under management, education, credentials and fiscal year production. Re-qualification is required annually. Prior membership is no assurance of future membership.
