Formerly an industrial psychologist, Kevin has always had a strong drive to help people achieve their goals. Over 30 years ago he realized his counseling skills, organizational abilities, and interest in financial matters better suited him to financial planning and the wealth management field.

Philosophically, Kevin is fiercely independent, seeking to represent the needs and wants of clients rather than the needs and wants of a bank, brokerage firm, or insurance company. He believes clients are best served by a holistic approach; an ongoing evaluation of their entire situation, rather than by the all too typical ad-hoc, haphazard, product-centered approach.

Kevin graduated from Rowan University in 1978 with majors in both Communications and Psychology. In 1981, he completed his Master of Science in Applied Psychology/Organizational Behavior at Stevens Institute of Technology. He later earned the Certified Financial Planner™ (1987), Chartered Financial Consultant® (1991) and Chartered Life Underwriter® (1992) designations. Kevin holds various securities industry licenses (7, 24, 51 and 63), a Florida real estate license, and a Florida life, health, and variable annuity license, as well as a disability insurance license. Over the years, Kevin has conducted seminars and workshops for major organizations including AT&T, BellSouth, CSX, the Army Corps of Engineers, and the University of North Florida.

Outside of work, he enjoys traveling, playing guitar, golf and landscape photography, but by far his favorite activity is spending time with his children and 3+ grandchildren.

Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc. owns the certification marks CFP®, Certified Financial Planner™, CFP® (with plaque design) and CFP® (with flame design) in the U.S., which it awards to individuals who successfully complete CFP Board’s initial and ongoing certification requirements.
