We take a disciplined approach to portfolio construction and management. Prior to inclusion in investor portfolios, suggested securities are carefully reviewed for fundamental and historic valuation to determine their suitability.
Once a security is identified, we work to accumulate substantial positions in the company. The strategy is to carefully grow assets through targeted investments in companies believed to have appreciation potential. There is no predetermined holding period. We track both the market and the individual company then use that information to make purchase and disposition decisions for each security.
Each quarter, we review scores of publicly traded bank stock earnings, searching for companies that are historically undervalued on both tangible book and earnings basis.
We also have established a database of dividend-paying bank stocks that is appealing to the value investor looking for a combination of growth and current income.
