After spending more than 12 years in education, Barbara Garlington was ready for a change. She found it when a friend introduced her to Van. Since joining the team in 2005, Barbara has become a valuable resource for clients and for the team. Her goal is to provide excellent service and compassionate attention.
Barbara’s career began in the banking industry, where she spent more than a decade before taking a position with the Midland Independent School District. From 1993 to 2005, she served as executive secretary to the director of elementary education.
Originally from San Angelo, Texas, Barbara now calls Midland home. She has two grown daughters, Sharla and Danielle, and enjoys spending her spare time volunteering with her church and playing with her grandchildren.
