It was the idea of helping people that brought Chris Ginsbach to the financial services industry. Every day, he relishes the opportunity to be both advisor and partner, working with a variety of clients to achieve a broad range of goals.

Chris is a graduate of Texas A&M University, where he earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting. Prior to joining Van’s team, he was a senior associate tax specialist with KPMG in Houston and Dallas, and he worked as a financial control analyst with Q Investments, a $2.5-billion hedge fund based in Ft. Worth. Chris is proud to be a CFP® practitioner. CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER^™ professionals have passed 10-hour, two-day exam that tests knowledge of the components of financial planning and the ability to apply that knowledge to real-life situations. Currently, there are only approximately 4,000 CFP® professionals in Texas.

Chris is responsible for assisting Van, Scottye and the team in preparing for all investment data and portfolio analyses for client appointments and financial planning proposals. In addition, Chris works closely with Scottye and Eliza to handle clients’ various planning issues.

A Houston native, Chris now lives in Midland, Texas, with his wife, Casey, and their three children, Jay, 4, and Anna, 2, and newborn Joseph. Outside his professional career, Chris’s pursuits are primarily musical. He is the drummer for The Literary Greats, who’ve released three albums so far, and he also plays drums for the worship team at Mid-Cities Community Church.
