The idea is to identify advisors who follow the investment industry's best practices. Investment performance is not measured directly, because audited results aren't available.
  • December 2007 – Van Pearcy named to Research magazine’s 2007 Advisor Hall of Fame. Advisors who passed the magazine’s rigorous screening process are those who have served a minimum of 15 years in the industry, have acquired substantial assets under management, demonstrate superior client service, and have earned recognition from their peers and the broader community for the honor they reflect on their profession.
  • August 2007 – Van Pearcy named to Registered Rep.’s America’s Top Financial Advisors list. He was ranked 11th of the 50 independent advisors who made the list. To be considered for the rankings, advisors were required to have at least 50% of their business with individual investors.
* Advisors are ranked strictly by assets under management, though 60 percent of those assets must belong to retail, as opposed to institutional, clients. If the advisor is a member of a team, he or she must be the founder or leader of that team.
