Van Pearcy started college with big plans of becoming a doctor. Then, with his football and track success, the big plan became the NFL. But when a knee injury and four surgeries forced him off the field, Van’s big plan changed one last time.

The time he spent recovering, and considering what to do next, got him thinking about the things that are most important to people – their families, their health, their success. And he found that a key factor of taking care of the important things is having the means to do so. So, Van decided he would help people plan for what they value most by helping them plan financially.

Since 1987, Van has been providing financial knowledge, solutions, service and integrity to select businesses and families throughout the Southwest. He and his team work with clients on an individual basis to create truly personalized, comprehensive wealth strategies that run the gamut from basic needs to complex goals.

A native of Andrews, Texas, Van graduated from Andrews High School in 1981. He went on to attend the University of Notre Dame, where he would earn his bachelor’s degree in economics and his Master of Business Administration. While completing his undergraduate work, Van was a starting wide receiver for the Fighting Irish as well as track and field captain.

He is a dedicated advocate for his community and currently sits on the financial board of Midland Children’s Rehabilitation Center, the endowment board of St. Ann’s Catholic School and the board of the Midland Firemen’s Relief and Retirement Fund. Van is also a past president of Midland Country Club. In addition, he keeps close to his sports roots as a board member of the University of Notre Dame’s Monogram Club and as a track coach at Midland Christian High School.

Van and his wife of 25 years, Donna, currently reside in Midland, Texas. Erin, their daughter, graduated from Texas Christian University (T.C.U.) in 2010, and their son, Vance, is currently a sophomore attending T.C.U. His interests outside of family, career and community include sports, golf, fishing, hunting, antique cars, ranching, farming and art.
