Peter is a financial planning specialist who finds great fulfillment in helping successful executives and business owners get the most out of their lives. By cultivating deeply personal relationships with his clients, Peter works diligently to understand and anticipate their needs, and customize comprehensive wealth management strategies for pursuing their goals.

In addition, as team leader of The Walsh Group, Peter establishes and monitors the group's goals, ensures and promotes continuity, and fosters business development. Peter also works closely with the professionals at Raymond James Consulting Services to provide customized investment strategies and objective advice to institutional clients such as nonprofits, foundations, endowments, family offices and corporations.

Before joining Raymond James in 2014, Peter served as a senior vice president of investments with Morgan Stanley Wealth Management, where he worked for 27 years. He began his career in 1984 as a specialist clerk on the floor of the New York Stock Exchange. He is a graduate of the University of Maryland, College Park.

Peter is deeply committed to giving back to his community. Together with his wife and business partner, Lisa, he has lent his support to such notable and worthy institutions and organizations as Nardin Academy, Kenmore Mercy Hospital Foundation, Hospice Signature Society, and United Way of Buffalo & Erie County.

Peter is a Buffalo native and lives here today with his wife, Lisa, and children, Katie and PJ. Peter is passionate about golf and good wine, and also enjoys squash, running, working out, skiing and spending time with his family.
