In Our Community

Brad focuses his community efforts primarily on working with kids in partnership with the Community Foundation of Tampa Bay where he serves as trustee and has set up a Welch Family Fund for each of his three boys. Brad and his wife Sally have been leaders in their church's Couples Ministry, Youth Group, and Father’s Ministry.

Brad has been the manager of all three of his sons’ Bayshore Little League baseball teams on Davis Island. Bradley junior plays football for the Duke Blue Devils, Logan plays baseball for the Maryland Terps, while Schuyler focuses on tennis and attends Wilson Middle School. He has served on the Board of Fellows at the University of Tampa and the Advisory Board at the UT’s School of Business. He is a past President of the local Duke Alumni of Tampa Bay and is active on Duke’s Admissions Interviewing Committee. Brad is a member of Palma Ceia Golf and Country Club, he has been a nationally ranked tennis player, and in his free time enjoys golf, gardening, guitar, painting, and fishing.
