As a “second career” financial advisor and cancer survivor, we tend to do things a little differently. We don’t win golf tournaments, disdain fancy charts and don’t use intimidating investment terms. We like to keep things simple, tend to listen more than we talk, emphasize communication and provide honest answers. We think it is important to plan for your financial needs, invest conservatively and be mindful of investment fees. Our typical clients are baby boomers working hard to retire in the next couple years and many are women.
I have been doing financial consulting for many years here in the treasure valley. Previously, I was a business owner, and a Finance/Engineer Executive at Boeing, Oracle and Hewlett Packard.
I am a sixth generation Idahoan with a Bachelor’s in Engineering from the University of Idaho, and am an Accredited Asset Management Specialist.
Most of our clients are focused on planning for retirement and how to generate income when they retire. We work hard to plan for future/current retirement income needs, while minimizing taxes.
We emphasize conservative investing to make sure you sleep well, regardless of market behavior. We make investment recommendations based on your unique needs, while emphasizing:
- Regular communication
- Financial planning
- Clear explanation of fees
- Reducing taxes

A bright start to 2013
