Kelly Wood serves as the President at Wood Financial Group an independent firm and a Financial Advisor with Raymond James. He works to provide solutions for his client’s financial needs through conservative investments and proactive communication.
Before working in the financial industry, Kelly held executive positions at Hewlett-Packard, Boeing and Oracle. After surviving cancer, Kelly decided to change careers and move into the financial world. He subsequently became a financial advisor at A.G. Edwards /Wells Fargo, before joining Raymond James.
He graduated from the University of Idaho with a B.S. in engineering, in addition to studying for his MBA at National Technology University. A proud 5th generation Idahoan, Kelly is very involved in his community and has served on the YMCA committee and other local boards. When he is not working , he enjoys skiing, tennis and golf. Kelly and his wife, Cathy Jo, live in Boise and have three children, Amy, Ryan and Johnny Rocket.
Jennifer is a Treasure Valley native. She began her career as a Financial Associate with AG Edwards & Sons in 2004. The firm eventually became part of Wells Fargo Advisors, where Jennifer continued in various support roles interfacing with clients. Jennifer joined Raymond James in 2009, and became part of Wood Financial in 2013. She heads all operational functions and is the primary point of contact for addressing clients’ needs.
Jennifer serves as a volunteer Big Sister with Big Brothers Big Sisters and also as a floor hockey coach for the Special Olympics of Southwest Idaho.
In her spare time Jennifer enjoys golf, tennis, and hiking in the Boise foothills.
