Alex Kwon

Alex Kwon is a Client Service Associate at 1819 Wealth Advisors of Raymond James, leveraging his strong finance background to support client service, financial analysis, and investment research for the team. He joined the team in June 2025, excited to blend technical skills with a people-first approach to supporting clients and advisors.

Prior to joining 1819, Alex interned as a junior analyst at Grandview Peak Capital, a search fund focused on acquiring and operating small-to-mid-sized businesses. There, he conducted market research, developed industry reports, led outreach efforts, and built financial models to evaluate acquisition opportunities — gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced, real-world environment.

Alex earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from The Ohio State University’s Fisher College of Business, graduating in December 2024 with a major in finance. His coursework included investment strategy, financial modeling, portfolio management, and derivatives, giving him a well-rounded understanding of financial markets. He also supported fellow students as a business course tutor for OSU student-athletes and served as a grader for Microsoft Excel and Access labs, strengthening both his technical and communication skills.

Originally from South Korea, Alex now lives in Mason with his wife, Gina. Together, they enjoy traveling, movie nights, bowling, and actively participating in their church community. In his downtime, Alex unwinds with competitive video games like League of Legends and FIFA or by catching up on basketball and soccer highlights.
