St. Pete associates: Looking forward while giving back
Hundreds of employees donated food and supplies to charitable organizations on the frontline of the COVID-19 crisis.

Raymond James associates, advisors and leaders in St. Petersburg, Florida came together to show their commitment to the communities in which they live and work through a drive-up food and supply drive. Donated items will benefit local charities with increased need due to the spread of COVID-19.
“Giving back to our communities has always been a big part of our mission at Raymond James, especially during times of crisis,” said Chief Financial Officer and executive committee member Paul Shoukry, who proposed the idea of a food drive to the firm’s executive committee and helped organize the initiative.
Over 200 employees lined up in their vehicles at the firm’s corporate headquarters to drop off food and personal hygiene supplies equaling 30 pallets in total – nearly 10,000 pounds. The donations will benefit Metropolitan Ministries and St. Petersburg Free Clinic.
The generosity and support of our associates and advisors is a true testament to the Raymond James culture. “It was spectacular!” said Jodi Perry, President of the Independent Contractors Division of Raymond James Financial Services and board member of the St. Petersburg Free Clinic. “It makes me proud to know that even while we are apart, the Raymond James family is strong and committed to helping our community.”
