Customization is important when it comes to long-term financial planning and management. That’s something my clients have relied on from me during my 35 years of experience in the industry.

As a Financial Advisor, I’m proud to offer financial planning from beginning to end. I’ll ask about your goals, about your plans, and what you want to accomplish. Then, instead of assigning you a pre-determined model and hoping for the best, I’ll customize and build a plan specifically for you.

As I get to know my clients, I’m able to better understand their investment tolerances and objectives. What transpires is an everchanging, tailor-made plan based on the relationship that has been formed. Basically, that means I take my clients beyond the ordinary. I look at tax situations, as well as analyzing beneficiaries and retirement income for the long term. I work diligently to assist my clients in making the right decision, whether it’s asset accumulation, retirement income distributions, or navigating Social Security options. I ensure that financial decisions are in my clients’ best interests and work in their favor in the most tax-advantaged way. I’m a firm believer of this holistic approach when helping clients reach their desired goals.

In my spare time, my family and I like to ride cutting horses, competing in events throughout the west. When I’m not at work, you’ll find me with my wife and daughters on our ranch just east of Colorado Springs.

I hold a Master of Business Administration degree from Aspen University, as well as an Accredited Wealth Management AdvisorSM designation from the College for Financial Planning.

David Wood Qualifications: holds series 7, 24, 63, 65, and 66 securities licenses; life and health insurance licensed with variable endorsements. AWMA® is a service mark of the College for Financial Planning®.
