Everyone has a story to tell. Whether happy or sad, all stories make us who we are today, and teach us something in the end. Because of my personal experiences, I have a true understanding of the impact of the services I provide my clients who are living their life story and planning their next chapter.

In 2015, my mom was in a great spot. She had just moved into her new house, and if her plan went the way she expected it to, I think she would have had a comfortable lifestyle. But life did not go according to her plans, and even though she had a clean bill of health, and probably worked out more than I did, she unexpectedly passed away three months before her 60th birthday.

Unfortunately, like most of us, my mom had put off creating a will, so my grieving sisters and I were left to scramble and make a lot of decisions on her behalf. While it was challenging time, the many lessons from that experience have shaped how I run my business today and work with my clients to position them to handle what they can expect – but also what is sometimes overlooked. My approach is to take the time to understand everyone’s unique situation so that I can customize a strategy that makes sense for them.

I feel grateful to be part of an experienced team of Financial Advisors whose sole focus is to take care of clients – not just for today, but for every day – and all of the life events along the way. Our focus has been to educate our clients, and help them plan for their short- and long-term goals, and the what-ifs that may happen along the way,

I am a native Oregonian, from Ashland Oregon and a proud graduate from the University of Oregon where I studied economics and business. When I am not looking at the market or working with my clients, I spend most of my time with my two sweethearts, Carmen and Becky (Becky is our Shepard Pitbull mix pup who likes to keep us on our toes). We have a great time exploring and going on adventures filled with hikes, enjoying the great restaurants in Portland, spending time with friends and family, and my favorite, going to Blazer games - Go RIP CITY!
