Tom Parr is the Business Development Consultant for the Custody & Clearing Division of Raymond James Financial, Inc. In that role he is responsible for the development of new relationships with Broker Dealers, Registered Investment Advisory Firms and other introducing firms that bring assets and transactions to the firm's custody and clearing business.
An accomplished professional with extensive custody and clearing experience, Mr. Parr came to Raymond James with more than 27 years of experience in the financial services industry. Prior to joining Raymond James, he was the National Sales Director for DST Market Services, DST's custody and clearing division. Previously, he served 13 years as Senior Vice President of Business Development at RBC Correspondent & Advisor Services, the clearing and custody business of Royal Bank of Canada. Mr. Parr has also held business development and relationship management roles with BNY Clearing and Pershing.
He earned a Bachelor's degree (majoring in Psychology) from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a Master's degree in business administration (with a focus in finance) from Quinlan School of Business, Loyola University Chicago. In addition, he holds Series 7, 24 and 63 securities licenses and he graduated from the Securities Industry Institute at the Wharton School of Business.
Mr. Parr lives with his wife in Elmhurst, IL and has two sons that attend Washington University in St. Louis. He also is an avid Chicago sports fan and is reveling in the Chicago Cubs World Series victory after 108 years.
