Helping Raymond James grow is an integral part of the business development function, and Matt is keenly aware of the challenges facing financial advisors and branch managers. A 23-year veteran of Raymond James, including having held positions in Reorganization, Correspondent Clearing and the Equity Capital Markets department, Matt values the Raymond James culture and knows the firm holds the satisfaction of advisors and their clients paramount.
“Our culture is based on the fact that the advisor is our client, and as long as we, as a firm, provide the tools and support to our advisors, they will be able to take care of their clients,” he says. One of Matt’s main goals in the Midwest Region is to continue to enhance the relationships the firm has developed with existing advisors. A graduate of the University of South Florida, he also holds a master’s degree from the University of Tampa John H. Sykes College of Business. Matt is also a Registered Corporate Coach.
