TJ Cotten
TJ Cotten comes to Raymond James after 13 years with TD Ameritrade Institutional. For the past nine years, he served as vice president of sales and was responsible for business development and relationship management in the Mid-Atlantic region.
Prior to his role as vice president, TJ led the advisor in transition team, responsible for lead generation across the organization. He was a President’s Club award winner from 2010 through 2019.* He began his career as a bond broker, selling tax-free municipal bonds in northern New Jersey.
TJ earned a degree in finance from Pace University, where he was a member of the Lubin Student Leaders and Scholars Business Honor Society. He has earned the Certified Financial Planner™ certification and holds Series 7, 24, 63 and 66 licenses.
Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc. owns the certification marks CFP®, Certified Financial Planner™, CFP® (with plaque design) and CFP® (with flame design) in the U.S., which it awards to individuals who successfully complete CFP Board’s initial and ongoing certification requirements.
