Ray Adams

Ray Adams serves as East Regional Director for the RIA & Custody Services Division. He is based in Richmond, Virginia, and brings 28 years of experience in the financial services industry to his role. Prior to joining Raymond James, Ray served as vice president of regional sales with TD Ameritrade Institutional in the Virginia, Maryland and Washington, D.C., markets. His experience consulting with new and established RIA firms provides an appreciation of the services, support and resources needed from your custodian.

Prior to TD Ameritrade Institutional, Ray held several senior-level roles at various firms, including Wachovia Securities (now Wells Fargo Advisors), Robert W. Baird & Co. and Ameriprise Financial. He attended Virginia Commonwealth University, where he studied business administration and psychology. Ray holds the Series 4, 7, 24, 31 and 66 licenses. In his spare time, Ray enjoys hiking with his family, golfing, playing drums, and volunteering at various charitable and nonprofit organizations in the local area.
