Andrea Linger
Andrea Linger began her career in the financial services industry in 2010 and joined Raymond James in 2011 when the financial advisor team she worked with transitioned from HSBC. During her time at Raymond James, she has grown her career, taking on new roles and increasing responsibilities, first within an advisory team and then in the Practice Management department.
In her role, Andrea is responsible for managing, facilitating and designing programs to improve the profitability and growth of our financial and investment advisors across Canada. She is directly responsible for the delivery of various Practice Management programs; facilitating new advisor training and succession planning programs; and administering multiple external coaching programs available to Raymond James advisors.
As head of the Network for Women Advisors for Raymond James Ltd., Andrea is committed to advancing the success of our women advisors through professional and personal coaching initiatives, training, workshops and networking opportunities.
Involved with the campus engagement initiative at Raymond James, Andrea is actively helping to educate new graduates on the many benefits of a career in the financial services industry. Also very passionate about educating young students about the importance of being financially literate, she volunteers her time with Junior Achievement BC, teaching business and financial concepts to middle school children.
Andrea is the producer of the nationally broadcast TV show “The Wealthy Life,” which is sponsored by Raymond James. Now in its fourth season, “The Wealthy Life” is dedicated to helping everyday Canadians make smart financial decisions so that they can make the most of what they have.
Andrea obtained her Bachelor of Commerce in Entrepreneurial Management from Royal Roads University in 2010, graduating with distinction. Prior to working for Raymond James, she worked in her family’s business as the human resource and office manager for their two retail locations and manufacturing plant. She was responsible for all aspects of human resources including developing and implementing sales training program along with overseeing Accounting, IT and Marketing.
Andrea grew up in Whitecourt, Alberta, but has made Vancouver Island her home since 1994. Outside of work, she balances her passion for fitness and spending quality time with her family.
