Raymond James Investment Advisors Division Welcomes New Ultra High Net Worth Team from UBS in Dallas and HoustonST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – Raymond James Investment Advisors Division (IAD) President Bill Van Law announced that newly created independent advisory firm Requisite Capital Management based in Dallas, Texas, and with an office in Houston, has selected Raymond James as its custodial partner and FallLine Securities as its broker/dealer and private wealth management services provider. The team is comprised of founder and principal Douglas John and co-founder Bryn Basiardanes Talkington. Prior to launching their new firm they both were at UBS for over 14 years where John was a Managing Director and advised on approximately $1 billion of client assets and Talkington was a Regional Director at UBS Asset Management.

John began his financial services career in 1996 with Merrill Lynch, spent three years with Alex. Brown/Deutsche Bank and then joined UBS in 2002. Talkington began her career with Olde Discount Corporation in 1994, and joined UBS in 2003, following short stints at Van Kampen Funds and Bear Stearns & Co. Together they founded Requisite Capital Management in June 2017.
FallLine Securities LLC is a Darien, Connecticut based broker/dealer and wealth management platform designed exclusively for independent private wealth advisors and their Ultra-High Net Worth clients. The firm, which uses Raymond James for clearing services, is led by CEO and co-founder John Straus and President and co-founder Peter Ruhlin.
