Raymond James Recognized for Innovative Technology for Sixth Consecutive Year
ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – Raymond James was recognized with the Technology Innovation Award for the sixth consecutive year by Bank Insurance and Securities Association (BISA). This year, the firm was recognized for its advisor Product Catalog, a custom application that allows advisors to search, screen, compare and review financial product attributes, fact sheets, analytics and research, with the option to manage custom product lists.
BISA’s Technology Innovation Award recognizes firms that are leading the advancement of the financial service industry’s products, services and platforms through innovative technology. This award highlights companies for their commitment to advancements in technology-based solutions for the industry.
“It is an honor to be recognized by BISA for excellence in technology innovation for the sixth year in a row,” said Tim Killgoar, senior vice president and head of Raymond James Financial Institutions Division. “Raymond James is committed to delivering best-in-class technology to equip our advisors with the tools they need to provide superior service to their clients. We look forward to continuing to build upon the capabilities this application can deliver to our bank and credit union advisors.”
BISA has consistently recognized Raymond James for its commitment to technology-based solutions and advancements. In years prior, Raymond James has won the award for the firm’s Advisor Mobile app; Client Reporting application; Account Aggregation tool; Client Center, a highly integrated system designed to help advisors manage client relationships; and Goal Planning & Monitoring, the firm’s retirement planning software.
The Product Catalog application is foundational to Raymond James’ wealth management suite of tools. The application streamlines the investment planning process and improves advisors’ efficiency by consolidating several sources of research and information – both internal and external – into one simple, clean interface. It is also customizable to allow advisors to see only the information that’s important to them.
“By using the Product Catalog application, advisors can now conduct in-depth investment research through an intuitive interface that is centrally located,” said Vin Campagnoli, chief information officer at Raymond James. “We are proud to deliver one more tool in our suite of integrated technology offerings that will help our advisors find greater efficiencies and provide quality advice and service to their clients.”
Candidacy for the 2018 Technology Innovation Award is limited to products launched in 2017 and is open to BISA Leadership members, as well as Associate and Associate Plus members. The award is not representative of any one client’s experience, is not an endorsement, and is not indicative of future performance. Neither Raymond James nor any of its financial advisors pay a fee in exchange for this award. BISA is not affiliated with Raymond James.
Raymond James was recognized with this award at BISA’s annual convention on March 8 in Hollywood, Florida.
