Raymond James Recruits $173 Million Advisor Team in Burlington, Wisconsin

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – Raymond James recruited financial advisors Clay Brandt, CFP®, and Nate Brandt to Raymond James & Associates (RJA) – the firm’s traditional employee broker/dealer – in Burlington, Wisconsin, according to John Kuklenski, Northern division director for RJA. The advisors affiliated with Raymond James under the Advisor Select affiliation option, and joined from Wells Fargo Advisors. The new office is part of the Wisconsin Complex, managed by branch manager Gary Sievewright.

The father and son team operates as Brandt Wealth Management of Raymond James and previously managed approximately $173 million in client assets and had more than $960,000 in production. Joining them at Raymond James is client service associate Mary DiMotto and client service associate Michele Lecus.

“We were drawn to Raymond James because of the firm’s reputation for putting clients first, their common sense approach and the freedom they allow advisors to run their practices as they see fit,” said Clay Brandt, senior vice president, investments. “The technology and resources available to support the advisor and client experience are very impressive. It is a true pleasure to be with a company whose associates provide advisors with first class service, are accountable, responsive and pay attention to detail to get the job done right. We could not be more pleased with the support and help that has been given to us at Raymond James, our new home.”

Clay Brandt has nearly two decades of industry experience, having worked at A.G. Edwards and most recently, Wells Fargo. He graduated from Carroll College with a bachelor’s degree in business. In 2007, he earned the Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®) certification.

Financial advisor Nate Brandt began his financial services career after graduating from Minot State University with a bachelor’s degree in finance. Partnering with his father has allowed him to broaden his industry knowledge and experience.

“Raymond James continues to grow its presence in the Midwest with the addition of exceptional advisor teams like Clay and Nate,” said Kuklenski. “They are a great addition to the Raymond James family, and we’re proud that they chose Raymond James as their partner in providing wealth management services to their clients.”
