Raymond James welcomes team of 11 managing $738 million in Birmingham, Michigan
ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – Raymond James welcomed financial advisors John Schindler, CRPS®, Jeffrey Davies, CFP®, ChFC®, Scott Bennett, CFP®, Chuck Phillipson, CFP®, Christian Allen and Austin Farah to Raymond James & Associates (RJA) – the firm’s traditional employee broker/dealer – in Birmingham, Michigan, according to John Kuklenski, RJA’s Northern division director.
Joining the six advisors at Raymond James are Senior Registered Client Associates Farrah Brown, Yvonne Carver and Andrea Roll, Client Service Associate Nathalie Tufenkjian and Senior Practice Marketing Associate Elizabeth Mabley. The team operates as Peninsula Wealth Management of Raymond James and joins from UBS, where the advisors previously managed approximately $738 million in client assets. Together, the group serves a variety of clients, including high-net-worth clients, business owners, corporate executives and physicians.

Schindler has been in the financial services industry for more than 24 years, having served as an advisor at Smith Barney and most recently, UBS Financial Services. He received his bachelor’s degree in business administration from Western Michigan where he majored in finance.
Davies, a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, serves as senior vice president, wealth management. He has seven years of financial services experience, starting at UBS Financial Services, where he served as a senior vice president. He graduated magna cum laude in mechanical engineering at Michigan Technology University and earned his master’s degree in engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology.
Bennett, a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, serves as senior vice president, investments, and has over three decades of financial services experience. Bennett worked at EF Hutton and its successor firms from 1987 until 2008, and joined Raymond James along with the team after 10 years at UBS. He graduated from University of Michigan with a degree in economics.
Phillipson, first vice president, wealth management, has more than 23 years of financial services experience. A CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, he began his career at Prudential and most recently served as a vice president at UBS Financial Services. Phillipson graduated with a business degree from Western Michigan.
Allen, financial advisor, joined the team while at UBS in 2015. Prior to that, he worked for a bank in Detroit after graduating from Denison University, where he studied economics and history.
Farah, financial advisor, began his financial services career in 2013 at J.P. Morgan Securities before joining the team at UBS in 2017. He graduated from Hope College, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in business and leadership.
