Alex. Brown welcomes $280 million all-woman advisor team in Miami, FloridaST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – Alex. Brown, a division of Raymond James, recently welcomed advisors Marina Tudela, CPWA®, Idalia Daguin and Gabriela Aguilar in Miami, Florida, according to Brett Kellam, managing director for the Alex. Brown Atlantic region.

Tudela, Daguin and Aguilar join from UBS, where they previously managed $280 million in client assets. The team, comprised solely of women advisors, joins Alex. Brown’s Miami office, which is managed by Eric Termini.
“We are three worldly, bilingual women from Venezuela who want to further lead the way for more women to get involved in the financial services industry,” said Tudela. “We came to Alex. Brown for its cultural reputation. Our values are aligned and we know our clients will feel right at home and valued, as we do. In addition, the technology is very sophisticated and a great fit for both older and newer generations. It’s been very helpful, especially in the midst of a pandemic.”
Tudela has spent 28 years in the financial services industry. Her previous 20 years in the industry were spent at UBS, and the first eight were at Smith Barney in San Juan. Tudela earned her bachelor’s degree in marketing and international business from American University in Washington, D.C., and is a Certified Private Wealth Advisor® (CPWA®).
Daguin has been in the financial services industry for almost 24 years. Prior to joining Alex. Brown, she had a distinguished tenure with UBS, where she was regularly recognized for excellence, and Citibank, where she worked on the banking side. Daguin holds a Master of Business Administration degree.
Aguilar has been in the financial services industry for 19 years. She began her career in 2001 as an account representative in Commerce Bank. In 2004, she joined the personal banking division at Citibank as a relationship manager, and in 2011 she transferred to UBS as a vice president. Aguilar has a law degree from Universidad Santa Maria in Caracas, Venezuela, and obtained her Ph.D. at her alma mater.
