Raymond James & Associates welcomes team managing $1.2 billion in client assets to new Kansas City office location
ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – Raymond James welcomed financial advisors Jared Stricklin, CFA®, Darryl Dunn, CFP®, CPWA, and Robert Meeder to Raymond James & Associates (RJA) – the firm’s employee advisor channel – in Overland Park, Kansas, according to Senior Vice President and Midwest Regional Director for RJA Michael O’Meara.
The team, which includes financial planning consultants Alin Frentzen and Lucas Harris and senior registered sales associates Deborah Doss and Wendy Jennings, comes to Raymond James from UBS, where the advisors previously managed approximately $1.2 billion in client assets. They serve a diverse client base, which includes medical professionals, engineers and other professionals, business owners and c-suite executives, as well as families and individuals, with a focus on multigenerational planning. The team joins RJA’s new Kansas City office location, and together operate as MDS Advisors of Raymond James.

Dunn brings years of experience in serving high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth families and professionals such as physicians, attorneys and engineers. Prior to Raymond James, he was a senior vice president and financial advisor at UBS Financial Services, where he worked for 13 years. He earned an MBA from DePaul University and a bachelor’s degree from Arkansas State University, and is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional and a Certified Private Wealth Advisor.®
Stricklin is a Chartered Financial Analyst®, with experience serving high-net-worth families and individuals, and expertise in high-level, specialized asset-management responsibilities, including investment analysis, portfolio management and business reporting. Prior to joining Raymond James, he was a senior vice president and financial advisor at UBS Financial Services, where he spent 10 years. He holds a master’s degree in finance from the University of Missouri, Kansas City.
Meeder, senior vice president of wealth management, has been in the industry since 1980. He specializes in market risk assessment, individual stock selection and portfolio construction. His prior experience includes decades of working with senior executives and assisting corporations with raising capital, selling founders’ stock and managing institutional equity sales. Meeder holds a bachelor’s degree in business, as well as an MBA from the University of Kansas.
