Raymond James welcomes financial advisor team managing $427 million in assets to open new employee advisor branch location

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – Raymond James recently welcomed financial advisors Christopher Beavers, CPFA, CRPC®, Matthew Beavers, CPA, Emma Beavers, Hannah Peterson and Ryan Finglass to Raymond James & Associates (RJA) – the firm’s employee advisor channel – according to Pat Allison, Western division director for RJA. With their transition, the team opens RJA’s newest office location in West Fort Worth, within its North Texas-Arkansas complex, led by Jeremy Silvas.

Operating as Beavers Wealth Management of Raymond James, the group joins from Merrill Lynch, where they managed more than $427 million in client assets for a select group of affluent families and businesses.

“Culture is created and defined by people’s actions,” said Christopher, managing director. “Raymond James leadership and the support at all levels of the firm are accessible, knowledgeable, approachable and they treat us like clients. That’s really powerful and was a deciding factor for what ultimately led us to make the move. We share the philosophy of putting clients first and it’s evident that Raymond James believes in that. Partnering with them gives us the opportunity, resources and support to provide the service our clients expect and deserve, putting their needs above all else.

“We’re excited for clients to see the immediate benefits of our transition as well, with our new, convenient office location being a place where they enjoy coming, as well as the client access through our own branded website. It’s been great to build out that independent feel with our own branding and customized client experience, backed by the support of a large firm like Raymond James. We’re looking forward to the future of our practice and the continued benefits we and our clients will experience now at Raymond James.”

Christopher is the founder and leader of Beavers Wealth Management, a financial advisory business he built himself from scratch. He began his financial advisor career after graduating from Harvard University and completing his MBA at Texas A&M’s Mays Business School.

Christopher is proud that Beavers Wealth Management has evolved into a family business. His father, Matthew, joined the team in 2015 after spending over 30 years as a practicing CPA. Shortly after, his wife, Emma, joined the team to oversee all operations, branding and events.

Matthew, senior financial planning consultant, graduated from Texas A&M University College Station.

Before joining her husband and father-in-law at Beavers Wealth Management, Emma, financial advisor, taught fine arts dance in an urban public school. Prior to being a full-time educator, Emma traveled the world performing as a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader while earning her degree from Texas Christian University and later completing her Master of Arts in Teaching from Texas Woman’s University.

“During their due diligence process and virtual home office visit, the team at Beavers Wealth Management remained laser focused on what resources and support they would need to elevate their service and experience for clients,” said Chris Davitt, Western Gulf regional director for RJA. “We’re proud they chose Raymond James as their trusted partner in helping them deliver on that, and we’re looking forward to supporting them as their practice and team grow.”

“I couldn’t be more thrilled to get to work with Christopher and the Beavers Wealth Management team again now at Raymond James,” said Silvas. “Christopher is such an accomplished and well-respected financial advisor, and I’m excited to welcome his energy and passion to our North Texas Raymond James family.”
