Raymond James grows Texas presence, welcomes advisor teams collectively managing over half a billion in assets
Client-centric culture and robust technology suite attracts three advisor teams
ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. –Raymond James recently welcomed financial advisors Steve Jumper, William Pettit, Tim Wilson and Joseph Logsdon to Raymond James Financial Services, Inc. (RJFS) – the firm’s independent advisor channel – in Texas, according to Kirk Bell, Central division director for RJFS. The three advisor teams collectively manage approximately $567 million in client assets.

Operating as Jumper & Associates Financial Services, Jumper joins Raymond James from Wells Fargo, where he managed approximately $121 million in client assets. With client service associates Carla Hancock and Marti Hall, the team is based in Texarkana, Texas and specializes in serving retirees, individuals and families. Jumper has over 30 years of industry experience, beginning his career with Edward Jones prior to joining Wells Fargo in 2015.

Based in El Paso, Texas, William Pettit joins Raymond James from Wells Fargo where he previously managed $151 million in client assets. Pettit has 23 years’ experience in financial planning and investment management and serves a variety of clients including business owners, corporate executives, healthcare professionals, retirees, families and individuals.

Logsdon and Wilson of Logsdon Wilson Wealth Advisors together managed approximately $295 million in client assets at LPL Financial. Located in Lewisville, Texas, the team specializes in serving healthcare professionals, retirees, individuals experiencing sudden wealth, families and individuals. Logsdon began his financial planning career in 2003 with Merrill Lynch before transitioning to LPL Financial. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration in finance and information systems from Baylor University and is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM.

Wilson has 23 years of financial planning experience through his tenure at LPL Financial, nearly half of which was spent working alongside Logsdon.
