Raymond James welcomes St. Petersburg, Florida financial advisor team managing $325 million in assets

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – Raymond James recently welcomed financial advisors Paul Manfrey, ChFC®, Greg Bell and Colin Long, CFP® to Raymond James & Associates (RJA) – the firm’s employee advisor channel – in St. Petersburg, Florida, according to Bert White, Florida regional director for RJA.

Operating as The HarborView Group of Raymond James, the team previously managed more than $325 million in client assets as part of Morgan Stanley. Also making the move to Raymond James is senior registered client service associate Shannon M. Gonzalez and client service associate Judy Wilson. Together, the group serves a variety of clients, including multigenerational families, individuals, professionals, small business owners and non-profit organizations.

“Moving The HarborView Group to Raymond James has been one of the best decisions in my 30 years in this business. I could not be happier,” said Manfrey. “Raymond James has provided us with levels of support I’d never experienced to make our transition – and our clients’ transition – as seamless as possible. That experience speaks directly to the culture and values of this organization. As an advisor, putting my clients’ needs first is a given. Knowing that mindset is echoed and supported, makes all the difference. I am confident in my belief that there’s simply no better home for our clients – and our group – than Raymond James.”

“What attracted us to Raymond James is the client-first mentality from the top-down, understanding that the client relationship is first and foremost with the advisor rather than the firm,” said Long. “The Raymond James platform provides us with quality resources, technology and support to engage with our clients in a way that fits best for them. We were also thrilled at the opportunity to join the home office in St. Petersburg. Being able to connect in-person with management, analysts, directors, specialists only deepens the insight that we can bring to our clients.”
