Raymond James welcomes financial advisor group managing over half a billion dollars in assets in Louisville, Kentucky

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – Raymond James recently welcomed financial advisors Don Dentinger, Robert Cregor Jr., CFA® and Rebecca Lovan to Raymond James & Associates (RJA) – the firm’s employee advisor channel – according to Tom Galvin, Southern division director for RJA.

“We are pleased to welcome this outstanding team of financial advisors to Raymond James as we further grow our presence in Louisville and the surrounding communities,” said Galvin. “Don, Robert and Rebecca are best represented by their unwavering desire to do what’s right for each of their clients. This approach aligns with the service-first emphasis that is integral to the culture of our firm.”

Operating as RiverWealth Management Group of Raymond James, the Louisville-based team previously managed $502 million in client assets at Wells Fargo. The group is joined by client associates Taylor Jessie and Stacy Payne.

“I feel very fortunate to be surrounded by a strong team at a firm that puts our clients’ needs first. The move to Raymond James and our clients’ response validates the path we are on,” said Dentinger, senior vice president, investments. “I look forward to adding to the team in the near future and continuing to improve the level of service we provide.”

Following a successful career as part of the UPS management team, Dentinger entered the investment advisory industry in 1998 with Prudential. Shortly after, he formed RiverWealth Management Group at Wells Fargo Advisors before transitioning to Raymond James. Dentinger is a graduate of Bellarmine University with a Bachelor of Arts in economics and the University of Kentucky with a Bachelor of Science in industrial engineering.

“It is refreshing to work at a firm with a primary focus on supporting the relationships between advisors and their clients. The systems, trading tools and planning programs are excellent, but it is the ‘can do’ attitudes of everyone I have met or talked with, either locally or at the home office, that sets Raymond James apart,” said Cregor, senior vice president, investments.

A native of Louisville, Cregor has led a lengthy 29-year career in wealth management services. He got his start as a financial advisor with J.J.B Hilliard, W.L. Lyons in 1999, remaining there for over a decade before joining Wells Fargo. Cregor obtained a bachelor’s degree from Vanderbilt University and is a Chartered Financial Analyst®.

“Our success is rooted in providing clients with unparalleled service and support to help them reach their financial goals,” said Lovan, financial advisor. “Raymond James was the best fit for our team because it set itself apart as the most client-focused, client-driven and client-friendly firm on the street.”

Lovan began her career in wealth management in 1999 at ARM Securities and later served clients as part of Prudential Securities and Wells Fargo. She is a native of Louisville and a founding member of RiverWealth Management Group. Lovan completed her undergraduate degree at Spalding University and later earned an MBA from Webster University.
