Independence and robust support attract team of financial advisors

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – Raymond James welcomed financial advisors Dan Smith IV, Todd Bryant, Eric Carlson and David Pieronowski to Raymond James Financial Services (RJFS) – the firm’s independent advisor channel – according to Todd Gartrell, Southeast division director for RJFS.

Operating as Signature Wealth Partners in Orlando, Florida, the advisors are joined by client services specialists Cathy Stockton, Diane Stallard and Elizabeth Hall. Together they serve a variety of clients including business owners, high-net-worth individuals, pre-retirees and corporate executives. The team was previously affiliated with MML Investors Services where they managed approximately $227 million in client assets.

“We chose to partner with Raymond James because it delivers economies of scale, yet we still maintain our independence so we can be the best advisors for our clients. This balance allows us to continue to provide customized solutions for our clients while utilizing all of the resources that come with a firm that manages over 1.2 trillion in assets,” said Smith, managing partner.

Smith has nearly 25 years of industry experience. After starting his career at Northwestern Mutual, he later transitioned to MML Investors Services. A graduate of the University of Central Florida, Smith is also a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM professional, Chartered Financial Consultant®, Chartered Life Underwriter® and a Chartered Advisor for Senior Living.

In addition to holding a bachelor’s degree from the University of Central Florida, Bryant is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM professional, Accredited Investment Fiduciary®, Chartered Financial Consultant® and Chartered Life Underwriter®.

“The financial services industry is constantly evolving so having direct access to the firm leaders, subject matter experts and service areas at Raymond James headquarters here in Florida is a huge advantage for us and our clients,” said Carlson, partner.

Carlson has been a financial advisor since 2000 when he affiliated with Northwestern Mutual and then MML Investor Services. Carlson earned a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from the University of Florida and is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM professional and Chartered Financial Consultant®.

“Our affiliation with Raymond James has brought our team an industry-renowned investment management platform and cutting-edge technology. Having these resources will provide a quality experience for our clients,” said Pieronowski, partner.
