Raymond James welcomes New York advisor team managing nearly $1 billion in client assets

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – Raymond James welcomed financial advisors Yaakov A. Ringler and Yonatan “Yoni” Marom to Raymond James & Associates (RJA) – the firm’s employee advisor channel, according to Kelly Anderson, Northeast regional director for RJA.

“It is my pleasure to welcome Yaakov, Yoni and their entire team to Raymond James as we continue our strong growth across the Northeast and in major markets, like New York, in addition to global markets such as Israel,” said Anderson. “This experienced team shares a deep commitment to delivering outstanding service and results for their clients. By extending the support of our firm’s culture, technology and resources, we hope to enhance their capabilities further.”

Based in Manhattan, the advisor duo previously managed approximately $850 million in client assets as part of Citigroup Global Markets. They are joined by practice business manager Daniel Lebovitch and client service associates Kevin Scull, Ariel Urban and Joan Brody. Together, the group provides dedicated global wealth management services to ultra-high and high-net-worth clients.

“Raymond James was the clear choice for our team because of their many technology offerings, well-known firm culture and service-first ethos. However, what truly set the firm apart was their alignment and level of support for our practice’s vision for the future, including our global growth aspirations and offshore platform,” said Ringler, managing director.

Ringler’s career in financial services spans nearly two decades and several notable industry firms. He began his career at Goldman Sachs, holding several roles within the firm and rising to the vice president position as the chief operating officer of the Israel group in the firm’s Investment Banking division. In 2010, he joined Morgan Stanley Private Wealth Management as an executive director, remaining there for eight years. Ringler is a veteran of the Israel Defense Forces’ Unit 8200 and holds a graduate degree in international economic policy and management from Columbia University, as well as a Bachelor of Arts from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.

“Raymond James offers a genuine client-first business model for advisors, which provides our team with the freedom and tools needed to prioritize our time effectively, ultimately enriching the experience of those we serve,” said Marom, managing director. “We couldn’t be happier with the tools and support we’ve received so far.”

Marom has nearly a dozen years of experience within the financial services industry, beginning his career at Wells Fargo Advisors. He transitioned to Citi Wealth Management in 2013, serving as a wealth advisor with the firm for eight years. Marom is a graduate of the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in finance.
