Raymond James features technology enhancements to support advisor efficiency and client service
ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — Building on its long-term investment in advisor technology, Raymond James recently introduced several enhancements designed to help financial professionals work more efficiently, deepen client relationships and deliver a more connected service experience.
The updates will be featured at Raymond James’ Summer Development Conference, where affiliated financial advisors will have the opportunity to learn more through live demonstrations and conversations with technology experts at the conference’s Technology Center. They include:
- Raimond, the firm’s proprietary AI assistant, and practical use cases for advisors and their teams
- Meeting Manager and RJ CRM enhancements that support meeting preparation, documentation and follow-up
- AI Academy training opportunities and adoption resources
- Cybersecurity enhancements supported by AI-driven analytics and automation
The firmwide rollout of Raimond provides advisors and associates with a secure resource to help navigate institutional knowledge faster to create more capacity for higher-value work and enhance decision making. The assistant engages in back-and-forth plain language conversation and offers clear, actionable answers with results that are continuously refined through follow-up questions and iterative prompts. Designed with built-in standards for data protection and responsible use, Raimond embodies the firm’s approach to bringing practical AI capabilities into the advisor experience.
Raymond James also continues to advance its meeting lifecycle support with Meeting Manager, an AI-powered solution fully integrated with RJ CRM. Current capabilities help advisors streamline meeting preparation through centralized planning, surfacing relevant client insights, agenda creation and drafting pre-meeting communications. Future enhancements will extend support through the follow-up stage, creating a more consistent end-to-end meeting process while helping advisors and their teams reduce manual effort and save time.
AI Academy, which was introduced earlier this year, has been received with strong engagement since its launch. As part of the firm’s broader technology education efforts, the program offers practical training to help advisors and their teams better understand and apply AI tools, with courses in prompting, productivity, Microsoft 365 integrations and Raymond James proprietary capabilities. To date, AI Academy classes are averaging over 900 attendees per session, with feedback indicating its helping advisors and associates adopt new technology, build AI proficiency and put firm-provided prompt templates into practice.
“Technology is most powerful when it’s implemented with intention and supported by experts who understand how financial advisors work,” said Andy Zolper, chief information officer. “Summer Development Conference offers an excellent opportunity for Raymond James advisors to get hands-on, personal guidance on how these tools and resources can work for them, their teams and their clients, as we continue to invest in meaningful innovation and AI integrations.”
Raymond James is also applying AI to strengthen internal technology and cybersecurity processes. New capabilities are improving code reviews, vulnerability management and analytics, enabling teams to identify and respond to potential issues more efficiently. Both internal and external partnerships support the firm’s broader risk management efforts and help inform the next phase of integrating AI-driven security capabilities.
Raymond James’ continued technology investment, including $1.1 billion this year, reflects the firm’s commitment to empowering financial advisors with integrated, intuitive tools that enhance service, support efficiency and help advisors continue delivering personalized advice.
