Cole began his career as a financial advisor with Edward Jones in September 2019 and was there until June 2025. In June 2025, he transitioned his business and affiliated with Raymond James Financial Services as an independent financial advisor.
Originally from Snyder, Texas, Cole enlisted in the US Navy in 1995 and served 14 years as a mineman and 10 years as a surface ordnance limited duty officer on various ships from minesweepers and a destroyer to an aircraft carrier, as well as a prestigious position of weapons officer supporting SEAL teams in the Middle East. While serving in the Navy, Cole graduated with an MBA from St. Leo University, which enhanced his passion for finance. After a successful 24-year Naval career serving his country, he now has the pleasure of serving clients both in the Austin Metroplex and nationwide.
He and his wife, Valerie, have been married for 30 years and have two adult sons, Christian and Noah, as well as their Black Labradoodle, Gunner. Valerie is a health care administrator with Baylor Scott & White Cancer Center. Active in his community, Cole served on the board of the Leander Youth Football League 2019-2022. Additionally, he volunteers his time supporting local veterans’ organizations. He is a Paid Up for Life member of the American Legion and Disabled America Veterans. He’s also a member of the Round Rock and Leander Chambers of Commerce supporting local business owners. Active in his church community, St Helen Catholic Church, Cole is a member of the Knights of Columbus. Cole enjoys spending time traveling with his family, golfing and hiking.
