As the visionary and leader of Ankole Capital Partners, Derrick’s mission is to help affluent individuals and families develop and execute robust, comprehensive and long-term financial strategies that align with their goals and objectives. With a steadfast commitment to integrity and professionalism, he strives to build deep and valued relationships with clients, gain a thorough understanding of their needs and aspirations and create personalized strategies to help enhance, preserve and transfer their wealth effectively.
After graduating from the University of Georgia in 2002 with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in finance, Derrick began an internship with A.G. Edwards and fell in love with financial advising. In 2004, he joined Morgan Keegan, which became Raymond James in 2012.
Outside the office, Derrick is active in his church, enjoys coaching sports and traveling with his family. Originally from Zebulon, Georgia, he resides in McDonough with his wife, Lauren, and their four children, Elizabeth, Layla, Josiah and Charlotte.
