2026 Forbes BIS WM teams award logo horiz

Throughout her almost two decades of financial services experience, Amanda Arcilesi Simmons has proudly grown her career skill set. In 2008, Amanda joined the team as a sales associate and now serves as a partner and wealth planning strategist, building holistic strategies and risk-appropriate investment plans.

Amanda enjoys helping her clients stay educated through every stage of their financial journey, from accumulation to preservation and finally transfer of wealth. She values the relationships that she creates with her clients and cares deeply about them and their families. Service is key to her business – she listens to each client so that she can help them achieve their goals rather than trying to implement a one-size-fits-all solution. She believes effective communication creates lasting partnerships and the best client outcomes.

Dedicated to continuing education, Amanda earned the Certified Financial Planner® (CFP®) certification in 2018 and CEPA® (Certified Exit Planning Advisor) in 2025. She earned a bachelor’s degree in art history and electronic journalism from the University of Utah and holds Series 7, 9, 10, 31 and 66 securities licenses.

Amanda and husband, Nate, have two amazing kids. Outside the office, Amanda loves to organize birthday parties, craft her annual witty family holiday card, support her children’s passions and travel. She finds joy in working out with her husband and attending Broadway shows as often as she can. She also serves on the finance and investment committee for the Girl Scouts of Utah.

The 2026 Forbes ranking of America’s Best-In-State Wealth Management Teams, developed by SHOOK Research, is based on an algorithm of qualitative criteria, mostly gained through telephone and in-person due diligence interviews, and quantitative data. This ranking is based upon the period from 3/31/2024 to 3/31/2025 and was released on 01/07/2026. Advisor teams that are considered must have one advisor with a minimum of seven years of experience, have been in existence as a team for at least one year, have at least 5 team members, and have been nominated by their firm. The algorithm weights factors like revenue trends, assets under management, compliance records, industry experience and those that encompass best practices in their practices and approach to working with clients. Portfolio performance is not a criteria due to varying client objectives and lack of audited data. Out of approximately 12,787 team nominations, 6,149 advisor teams received the award based on thresholds. This ranking is not indicative of an advisor's future performance, is not an endorsement, and may not be representative of individual clients' experience.
