After graduating from the University of Southern California with a degree in international relations, Austin moved to San Francisco and worked for GT Global Mutual Funds. After moving home to Pasadena a year later, he went to work for Smith Barney, learning the operational side of the financial industry and gaining valuable experience on how the industry functioned.
While with Smith Barney in Pasadena, Austin developed his fundamental investment knowledge and advisory process. In 2003, he joined Wachovia Securities, a predecessor firm of Wells Fargo Advisors, to take a team approach in providing personalized financial advice for individuals and families. He proudly joined Raymond James in 2019.
Austin appreciates seeing his clients enjoying their lives to the fullest extent. He helps his clients leverage their financial resources to provide a confident future to help meet both planned and unplanned events. Whether it’s helping young families ensure their children’s educational future or helping business owners manage their resources to stabilize their retirement plan or transition the ownership of their business, Austin is here to help. Away from the office, Austin spends his free time with his three sons, Austin, Aidan and Alec. He likes to stay active both physically and mentally, whether he’s playing golf with his family or coaching the numerous sports teams the boys are a part of. Austin looks forward to the day he and his boys can travel and play the country’s great golf courses.
