James McGee IV Financial Advisor

Prior to joining Raymond James in 2021, James had been a financial advisor with Wells Fargo Advisors since the spring of 2013. When he joined Wells Fargo Advisors, he brought with him over seven years of experience in the banking industry from working both with Wells Fargo Bank and Synovus Bank (formerly Athens First Bank & Trust).

James works with a team of financial advisors – Martin Ferrara, Bubba Helton and Justin Preissler – serving the entire Augusta and Aiken region. They believe their team’s collective experience allows them to offer a high level of service to help clients manage their individual financial needs and meet their long-term investment goals.

James is originally from Waycross, Georgia, and attended the University of Georgia. He and his wife have lived in Augusta since 2011. They are active members of Trinity on the Hill United Methodist Church, where they teach fifth-grade confirmation. Outside of the office, James enjoys traveling, golfing, college football and spending time with his children, Cason Anne, Marguerite and Baker.
