David G. Hill, CFP®, ChFC®
Chief Executive Officer, Aventura Family Office Registered Principal, Raymond James Financial Services

For David Hill, financial services is more than a career; it’s a calling. He finds great fulfillment in cultivating strong relationships with his clients and helping them achieve their goals.

Over the past 40 years, he has worked with industry-leading firms and provided strategic counsel to his peers, but his most significant contribution has been to his clients. David works closely with each of them to develop effective asset management strategies, plan for comfortable, dignified retirements, and build lasting legacies.

He holds Chartered Financial Consultant® and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certifications from The American College. In addition, he completed the senior branch manager executive development program for Morgan Stanley through the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School.

His long and diverse career has seen him serve as a member of the New York Stock Exchange, the New York Futures Exchange and the Cincinnati Stock Exchange (the first electronic exchange, now called the National Stock Exchange). He has also worked as a branch manager for Prudential Bache in Jacksonville, Florida, and as a vice president and manager for Oppenheimer in Houston. Following a move to Morgan Stanley, David served as a senior vice president, wealth manager, branch manager and portfolio manager in the firm’s Custom Portfolio Group. More recently, David spent several years as a vice president and client advisor with Deutsche Bank Alex. Brown before co-founding Aventura Partners, LLC in 2010.

A native of Blauvelt, New York, David came to Texas in 1985 and now resides in The Woodlands and Galveston. In his spare time, he enjoys snow skiing, swimming, ballroom dancing and spending time with his wife, Susan, daughter, Chelsea, and two grandchildren.

CFP® | CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ | Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc., owns the certification marks above, which it awards to individuals who successfully complete initial and ongoing certification requirements.

Professionalism is a key to perfectionism.
