Ellen O’Brien Middleton has been a Financial Advisor for Raymond James Financial Services for over 30 years. Her work offers clients flexibility, a broad range of investments, and the added value of continuous account monitoring to promote a strong ongoing match between goals and investments.

Ellen joined Raymond James and Associates in early 1996, following a decade’s prior professional investment experience with both Dean Witter Reynolds and Shearson Lehman. An educator for fifteen years before becoming a financial advisor, Ellen taught at numerous colleges and universities, including University of North Florida, Texas Christina University, and Loyola University of Chicago.

Ellen holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Florida State University and a Master’s Degree from Texas Christian University. She has also completed considerable supplemental postgraduate and certification work within the education and finance fields.

Over the years, Ellen has received numerous professional awards and accolades, has served as mutual funds trainer and consultant to Fortune 100 companies, and has been recognized for her retirement plan work in investment-house publications.

A third-generation native of Jacksonville, Ellen and her husband live in Mandarin. Committed to giving back to her community, Ellen has always been active in civic, religious, and professional organizations. She served as Chair of Women’ Concerns for the Catholic Diocese of Saint Augustine, founding President of Quigley House (a home for victims of domestic violence), and Ambassador for the Clay County Chamber of Commerce.
