Steve has more than 25 years of experience helping families and individuals achieve and maintain their personal financial independence.
In 2019 and 2020, Steve was named as one of the Forbes Best-In-State Wealth Advisors, and has consecutively qualified for the Raymond James Leaders Council since 2013. As a Wealth Advisor, he develops personalized investment and financial planning strategies based on the unique goals and objectives of each client.
Steve earned a bachelor's degree in business administration with a concentration in finance from Seattle University, and is a graduate of the College for Financial Planning's Certified Financial Planner™ program. In addition, he has completed advanced coursework in the fields of investing and finance, including the Certified Investment Management Analyst® program through the Wharton School of Business, and the Certified Private Wealth Advisor program through the Yale School of Management.
Prior to establishing his independent office with Raymond James in 1997, Steve was a financial advisor in the Kirkland, Washington office of A.G. Edwards. While working his way through college, he served as a registered assistant in the Bellevue offices of Bateman Eichler, Hill Richards, and Paine Webber.
Steve is a member of the Investments & Wealth Institute, the Financial Planning Association of Puget Sound, and the Financial Services Institute. He holds Series 4, 7, 24, 31, 51 and 63 industry licenses, and Washington State life and long-term care insurance licenses.
In his free time, Steve enjoys reading, hiking, relaxing at home with his family and two dogs, and traveling to interesting places.
