With over 30 years in the financial industry, Flora has weathered her fair share of market ups and downs, giving her the insight and firsthand experience to help clients do the same.
Flora creates highly personalized financial plans for each of her clients to help them confidently pursue their long-held goals and near-term needs, while managing risk and maximizing returns. To effectively address her clients’ distinct needs, Flora applies her active listening skills. “There is no judgement,” she says. “Only compassion for their life stories and a dedication to guide them through the financial planning process.” While she has a varied clientele, Flora has specialized experience working with teachers and retirees.
Offering exceptional client service has always been Flora’s highest priority, and it drives her actions to this day. She first joined Raymond James in 1989, later working as an office manager for a financial advisor group. Her next move was serving as marketing associate while helping open a new financial advising office in Ashland, Oregon.
In 1996, Flora started her own book of business, formed an all-women partnership and moved into a new office. In 2007, after becoming office manager and earning her Series 7, 9, 10 and 63 along with her insurance license, Flora opened her own Ashland office. She moved to Medford in 2015, where she continues to lead her thriving practice and build upon her 30-year career with Raymond James.
In addition to her busy work life, Flora serves as a treasurer for the Anna May Family Foundation, which supports nonprofits that care for economically disadvantaged and vulnerable people, particularly children, women, elders and minorities. She has also served on the foundation’s finance committee for the past three years. Flora has previously volunteered with the Soroptimist International and has contributed to United Way for the past decade.
Originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, Flora makes her home in Oregon with her husband, Christopher. She has four children – Scott, Logan, George and Acacia – and enjoys golfing, traveling, reading and writing.
