Why are you making this change?

We think there is a better way to do business on behalf of our clients – from the institutional discipline and standards with which we work, to the way we invest in resources and partnerships to deliver better intelligence and insight, to the results we believe we can achieve on your behalf.

Why didn’t you tell me you were leaving?

We were legally forbidden to discuss our intentions with any client prior to our move. Any violation of this restriction could result in a delay in the ability of Bell Wealth Advisors to accept client transfers.

Are my assets safe with Raymond James?

Yes. Safeguarding your assets is our highest priority. Founded in 1962, Raymond James is a custodian for over $725 billion in client assets, and provides some of the strongest protection in the industry. For more information on Raymond James, please visit our website at bellwealthadvisors.com, or raymondjames.com/privacy_security .

Does it cost me anything to move from Wells Fargo Advisors to Bell Wealth Advisors?

No. We will reimburse you for all transfer-related charges from WFA during the first 60 days of our transition.

Will I have to sell or liquidate my accounts to move to Bell Wealth Advisors?

In nearly every case, no. Whenever possible, we will transfer all of your accounts “in-kind,” which means that you stay completely invested when moving your accounts. This will help avoid additional fees and/or taxes. You will also be able to keep your existing bank/credit union, or choose to work with Raymond James Bank, a bank that exists to serve our private clients for cash management, credit & debit cards, securities-based lending, and more.**

Are there any tax consequences incurred when moving my accounts to Bell Wealth Advisors?

In nearly every case, no. Whenever possible, we will transfer your accounts “in-kind,” which means your account assets will remain as they are with WFA, thus no tax-related consequences. All cost basis and related information will also transfer with your accounts.

What do I need to do to move my accounts?

The process is quick and seamless. We will assist you to process your account transfer forms electronically or you can complete and sign the forms that we will provide to you. You can either email or mail them back to us, drop them off at our new office, or we would be happy to pick up the documents. Many forms can also be e-signed.

How long will it take my accounts to be transferred?

Upon receipt of your completed paperwork we expect your accounts to be transferred within five to seven business days. We will notify you when the transfer is complete.

Is there anything else I should ask?

We recognize that every client is unique, and that you may have questions that are exclusive to you or your family’s particular situation. We plan on being very proactive with our outreach to you, but please don’t hesitate to contact us at any time, with any questions that you may have.

How do I get in touch with you?

The main line to our office is 907-885-BELL (2355). Please feel free to call should you have any questions or would like more information.
