Amy Gonzalez Thompson is a dedicated financial advisor with a passion for the financial markets, economics, and developing and fostering client relationships. She has worked in the financial services industry for over 25 years. In 2026, she joined Belton Financial of Raymond James after 16 years at Goldman Sachs & Co LLC in New York City, and prior to that worked at Bear Stearns & Co. for 8 ½ years. Amy also has an office location in The Villages, Florida.

During Amy’s career she has worked with high-profile clients, on complex transactions, and has affected sophisticated retail and institutional trading. Her vast industry knowledge, experience, and education enable her to identify solutions to clients’ financial goals. Amy also has a passion for helping women build wealth, confidence, and legacy through investments.

Amy obtained a bachelor’s degree from St. John’s University, and holds the Series 7, 63 & 65 licenses. She is also a Florida Life, Health & Variable Contracts Insurance Agent, an Accredited Asset Management Specialist (AAMS®), and an MBA candidate at the University of Florida.

In 2024, Amy relocated from New York City with her husband Dan and puppy Bella to Lady Lake Florida. Amy prides herself on the strong relationships she develops with clients. She enjoys health & fitness, is an avid reader, and loves to travel.
