A native Floridian and resident of Eustis, Karen began working in the financial services industry in 2002. Karen holds the Series 7 and 66 securities licenses, life insurance and annuities license, as well as the AAMS® designation from the College of Financial Planning. She received a BA from National-Louis University.
Karen’s passion is community service. Serving in her third term as a Eustis City Commissioner allows her to be a part in guiding the city of Eustis. She also serves as President of LEASH, inc – a 501(c)3 that supports local animal shelters; a member of the Advisory Committee of The Open Door – a drop-in homeless shelter, and the Eustis liaison to Lake Community Action Agency – promoting self-sufficiency through a variety of programs to improve standards of living.
At home Karen’s hound (Duke Elvis) and cats (too many) remind her that every day is a new adventure. Her son, Travis, brings her joy in his accomplishments. In her spare time, Karen enjoys spending time with family and friends.
