Paul J. Benson III is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™professional with Benson Financial Planners of Raymond James. While focusing his business on his clients’ individual financial objectives, Paul believes the most successful financial planning strategies look at the big picture. Through a team approach, Paul offers a disciplined schedule of communication and rigorous detail in carrying through individualized financial plans to deliver a higher level of service and predictability.

Paul works hard to enhance and preserve your investments while assisting you in realizing your goals through long-term financial solutions such as retirement planning (including IRAs, 401(k)s), estate planning and more.

A native and lifelong resident of downtown Plymouth, Paul looks forward to a lifetime of great years in the downtown community. Paul graduated from The University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Business Administration- Finance degree in spring of 2012 and has since obtained his Series 7, Series 66 and life, health and accident insurance licenses, along with an Accredited Asset Management SpecialistSM designation. In August of 2014, Paul obtained his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER designation; one of the most recognized and valued certification in the industry for personal financial planning. This certification requires extensive training, experience requirements and rigorous ethical standards. He joined the Benson Financial Planners of Raymond James team in 2012 to work with his father, Paul Benson Jr., also a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional with 25 years of experience. When not working, Paul enjoys golf and skiing while incorporating his passion for fitness and nutrition into his daily routine.
